The
Flex Trim Power Strap permits riding in trim loop only, which means instantaneous
power control and total kite depower when needed. It also permits riding
while hooked into both trim loop and FLEXIBLE HARNESS LINE, thereby gaining
the feel and support of a standard harness line while retaining the ability
to effectively depower the kite in gusts.
(center hole in bar is necessary for mounting). MSR: $43.95 |

The
kite wrist leash is the most important safety feature. Proper set up is
important or the bar will not depower the kite properly. When the bar
is released it should slide down the leashed line by the length of the
flat span of the kite.
MSR: $29.95 |

The
single harness line attachment won't rub back and forth on the harness
hook as the rider steers the kite. This allows for friction-free flying,
thus steering requires less effort. It also reduces wear on your harness
line.

The
Longhorn Carbon kite Bar designed by leading edge innovator Ken Winner.
The bar features winding posts, which kite lines are attached to. This keeps the lines safely away from the hands. The posts are a short distance from the main axis of the bar, allowing for more tactile feedback about where the kite is. The bar automatically points at the kite, which means the rider knows where the kite is without looking. Unique asymetrical grip is comfortable on the hands and indexes the bar allowing the kiter to feel the kite position. MSR: $189.00 |

This
control boom from Advance Kites incorporates unique flexible "universal
joints" to enable varied control input for maximum response. Flight
control is closer to using "handles" than a fixed boom. Lines
can be easily adjusted when flying using the built-in cleat system.
