I live in Ireland, the west coast of our beautifully cold country has some of the best surfing in the world and is definately the best spot in Europe come winter storms. IF ANY ONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A NEW BOARD, YOU SHOULD REALLY CHECK IN TO ROLAND SHORTBOARDS! I'VE GOT A RUSTY WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE BEST BOARDS MADE, BUT IT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO MY FRIENDS ROLAND. I USUALLY SURF THE SMALL WAVES OUT AT WASHOUT, FOLLEY BEACH SC (4 to 5 footers) AND I JUST CAN'T PICK UP ENOUGH SPEED TO EVEN JUST HIT A SOLID CUTBACK OR ANYTHING. ON THE OTHER HAND WHEN I USE MY FRIENDS ROLAND I CAN LAND AIRS AND A FEW DOUBLE CONCAVES! ALL THAT I'M SAYIN' IS THAT BEFORE YOU BUY ONE MORE BOARD, YOU SHOULD CHEK OUT ROLAND SURFBOARDS.

A friend just handed me a flyer for "Siestas & Olas" as I was finding this site! She raved about the film shot in 16mm and narrated live! Unfortunatly for me I have other plans with the wife. How about another sceening up in L.A. or Santa Monica area? I have enjoyed your site, Travels with Tom is great and some excellent advice for traveling in Baja. Too bad we have to just put up with the trolls in CA. The Roland Longboards looked great, its nice to see some real prices as well. I will pass on the info. to my friends that are in the market. Hi, good to see you have got so much stuff on line now. I would have to agree that you do need some more stuff on New Zealand surfing . We are only a small country but we do have some awsome sufe to that deserve to be reconised . These are just my thoughts on the matter any way so don't take to close to heart cause I know that it takes alot of time and effort to do all this and it is greatly appreciated .
